Hosted by Hasan Kalyoncu University and organized by HKU Software Community, the Cyber Security Hackathon (Capture The Flag 2024) event ended with an award ceremony after 94 students, 21 teams and 24 hours of intensive work. At the Award Ceremony, the KNGL team, which came first by collecting the most flags in the shortest time, received their awards from our Vice President of the Board of Trustees, Haluk KALYONCU.
In his speech at the award ceremony, Haluk KALYONCU said, “We want such events to become a conventional event. I really care about these events that our student communities bring to life and I always support them.”
The second place award went to our students, the KALI-HT team, with a difference of 23 seconds after a fierce competition. Our second place team received their awards from our Rector, Prof. Dr. Türkay DERELİ.
Our next fastest performing team, CYBERMINDS, received their third place award from our Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Hanifi ÇANAKÇI.
