The HKU Department of Industrial Engineering organized a technical visit to the Gaziantep Competence and Transformation Center (Model Factory).
During the visit, our students observed the machinery, equipment, and production processes required for manufacturing an actual scale. Through these production processes they learned about, they had the opportunity to experience the Industry 4.0 transformation firsthand.
Genel HKU's SİMURG Team took first place in the "Tourism Technologies" category at TEKNOFEST KARADENİZ in Samsun with its augmented reality–based project "The Eye of Zeugma." The team received its medal, plaque and 20,000 TL award from President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
